“The Sacrifice of Old San Juan ” is a dark tale of a young man (“John” - Chris Kelly) who stumbles upon a mysterious duffel bag. At first he believes it to be a mere coincidence, but could it be fate? Finding himself in an unknown time and place where nothing is as it seems, John realizes not even his own perception can be trusted.

“The Sacrifice of Old San Juan” is a 24 minute short film written and directed by AK Hottman and is starring Chris Kelly, Rachael Weinstein, Brian Landis Folkins, J Walker, Adrian Holguin, Stella Neveu, Luba Bocian, and Winter Maza. Preproduction began in March of 2008 and continued up until shooting in March of 2009 in Platteville, CO, Milliken, CO, Loveland, CO, and at the Larimer Lounge in Denver, CO.
